Our story

17 Nutrition was born out of a problem we ourselves were victims of: sports supplements that kept getting more expensive. There were cheaper alternatives, but often we ended up with products of poor quality and low nutritional value. That’s why we started looking for high-quality ingredients for our products and a way to keep costs low, so that it remains accessible to everyone.

"We wanted to deliver high-quality supplements with our own formulas, but soon we discovered that many producers only offer ready-made products. An adjustment in the composition was not possible, or there were high costs associated with it, which would mean that the selling price would also be high. Therefore, we started looking for a company that could combine and package the ingredients we provided. This way, we have control over the quality of the ingredients and the compositions. It also ensures that the purchase price is lower, as we can buy directly from the factories, making the products cheaper for our customers!"

Formulas

What makes, for example, a 'protein shake' a good product? In our eyes, it is about the quality of the ingredients and of course the composition of these ingredients. A lot of time and research has gone into developing the right formulas. We have investigated the effects of each raw material, but it also had to perform well in practice. That is why we tested and adjusted many formulas ourselves until we came up with a product that met our standards. We found it important to use as few unnecessary additives as possible, so that the active substances in the product remain as highly dosed as possible.

Quality of the raw materials

The composition would be worthless if we used cheap and impure raw materials for our products. That is why we have approached many different manufacturers to work only with the highest quality ingredients. To ensure quality, we have all our final products tested at an independent laboratory. This way, we can guarantee that the quality is good, and this can also be found in our webshop.

Price

"Now we have a qualitatively good product that we have been able to produce relatively cheaply. We could keep the price high so that we could work with large margins, but this is not our vision. We have chosen to make sports supplements accessible to everyone. Therefore, we work with small margins and eliminate unnecessary costs. As a result, our prices remain low while we deliver top-quality supplements."
